The right to vote is a fundamental right of every eligible citizen, and protecting that right requires vigilance, integrity, and a commitment to justice. As part of the national Faith in Us initiative, CUSH is raising awareness that actions by the federal government may affect voting access and election administration.
We invite people of every denomination—and people of conscience from every background—to stand together in protecting the sacred right of every eligible citizen to cast a ballot free from interference, intimidation, or discrimination. We believe safeguarding our elections is a shared moral responsibility, and we pledge to hold our county clerk accountable for protecting every legal voter’s right to vote and for ensuring that every lawful ballot is counted.
We invite you to read our pledge letter in full and join us in upholding the values of fairness, integrity, justice, and respect for every citizen.
