Kenosha Inpatient Mental Health Center – NOW! Task Force Mission: To urgently encourage and support all matters concerning the potential inpatient mental health center at the Froedtert’s Downtown Hospital.
Current Issue Work:
- Community Awareness Campaign for this need
- Relationship Building with local Stakeholders
- Collaboration with existing local entities
2023 Actions:
- Several interviews and meetings with Froedtert and Kenosha County leaders
- Involvement in Kenosha County’s THRIVE planning sub group, “Mental Health and Substance” action team
- An article we wrote was published in the Kenosha News entitled “In Support of Inpatient Mental Health Treatment Facilities”
