DESCRIPTION:Whether you are new to CUSH because you attended Madison Action Day or have joined a new task force\, a dyed-in the wool supporter since day one\, or somewhere in between\,  \nthis Wisdom interactive online event is for you! \nSocial justice organizations like CUSH are only as successful in their work if we are engaging our members and volunteer leaders. \nThursday\, May 25th \n6:30 – 8:00pm \nEach participant must register here: \nhttps://secure.everyaction.com/71515tLm50SsM7furN0woQ2 \nThis 90 minute online workshop will educate participants all about CUSH’s statewide parent organization Wisdom\, its connection to a host of affiliates around the state (some of them new!)\, and how we are part of the national organization Gamaliel.   \nParticipants will learn or get a refresher on how we build power around social justice issues\, why Wisdom and our affiliates (including CUSH) are some of the best stewards for social justice\, and how YOU can become part of helping us grow our critical work. \nIf we reach at least 15 CUSH participants on this call who are willing to then meet in June to discuss how we collaborate\, CUSH will throw them a pizza dinner to fuel our discussion. \nSo!  Register\, grab a friend or fellow congregant to register\, and hop on the zoom ready to learn more about building power for social justice in Kenosha and Wisconsin! \n*Need not be a member of a CUSH congregation to participate.  All who are called to build a more equitable Kenosha and Kenosha County are welcome. \n
